This group of waterslides taking the water pumped to the top and letting the water flow through a flume and letting the rider slide to the bottom using the gravity force, are still “must” rides for every waterpark although they have a history as old as “waterslides” themselves. Body Slides are the original waterslides. These slides usually follow a very curvy path which is not as steep. Still, some body slides allow significant speeds to be obtained as well. Since Body Slides are suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations, since it can be included in all hotel and resort packages, since it is most probably the first sliding experience of most people, the popularity of Body Slides is never lessened. These slides’ being open or enclosed tube; fast or slow; long or short; ending in an aquacatch or in a pool play an important role in this popularity. Since the design of this group of slides have curves, the riders experience a longer ride experience while experiencing the excitement of turning right and left as they approach to the end. Most riders will be required to lie flat on their backs, and cross their arms over their chest on these types of slides.
